In this day and age, when there are so many connecting wires of communication, convincing someone to slow down and join us in an experience which will transform and inform is a little difficult. There are few who are willing to engage in healing energies in the scheme of things. Many will talk the Spiritual talk but run from the Spiritual walk. Mythology is, more often than not, the Spiritual walk. We are supposed to guide people through an initiation which we ourselves have taken. And we can do it, we just have to put our backs into it.
I desire nothing more than serving pieces of art through communication with the abstract symbols which are our assigned medium. The theory of the craft of writing is so intense that many people can't integrate and display a mastery of said theory in order to really get the blissful experience of writing. Then when you add on the piece which is mythology, those who enrapture with words, sentences, and paragraphs normally walk away mumbling something under their breath about storytelling being hard enough as it is. Mythologists who stick it out are not only rewarded with a bounty that can only be kept in the banks of the higher heavens, but we share this bounty enabling others to open accounts alongside us- we are never alone. Thinking about the fact that we have been selected to this honorable position with its hindering tasks, can stop us from reaping what has been sowed while we were just using writing for escapism. Fore the process of becoming initially accepted and acknowledged is one, in which identicality to every other position on this Spa Planet: Earth, sends us on our fool's journey. Just like others it isn't the following of bliss which we start out with, but the warmth from escaping the environment of our holding cell. We write, not even closely aware of the fact that we, like doctors and nurses, will one day enliven and resuscitate the immortals, motivate and inspire the mortals, and give hope to the ghouls. If lucky, we move beyond that feeling we had when we first started and begin the journey of becoming a Mythologist. Schooling and theory on writing comes after escapism, and we die to who we were. There will be so much to learn about character arc and plot. Setting normally takes care of itself, unless we are going beyond the bounds of our atmosphere. But those darn married aspects of creative writing; those are the things that will make or break a writer. Like I said, liken to a doctor or nurse. Theory is just one aspect. It is an important aspect but only the pronouncement and exhibition to the world that being broken is not an option. After showing that there can be trust since now you are an initiative authoritative guide. Structure and Voice are licenses displaying name and ability. Upon becoming working apprentices of the art, the beauty which is storytelling, the mountain of comparative mythology must be climbed. There is a reason why we still need to read Homer or the Sumerians' Epic of Gilgamesh. We need Japanese and Chinese myths in our toolbox and how to use them. There is the greatest historical mythological story, according to some, the Good Book(s) of the Jews and the Christians which weaves history, philosophy, worship, ritual, and fantasy together so well that people are still dying over it. The list carries on with Egypt's Atum and Amun, both gods in their own right, good according to their own disciple sight; Norse; Celtic; African. Exhaustive one must be. This is why many don't Fuck with Myth. Mythology in one area of discipline is hard enough, but when you add the required information gained only be being a comparative mythologist, things get downright outrageous. Yet, going in the belly of the beast will bring about your own hero's journey; one which Joseph Campbell would be proud of. That is when you pass the bar exam, and gain your license, having everything you need in order to lead others through the beast of relevance. There's a lot on your shoulders Mythologists, I know; don't give up. There is no more rewarding way to serve than leading boys into being men and girls into being women. We need you; I desire your company. Just thin about this during those long nights and early days. School of theory, like Med School, only last so long. Apprenticeship, like internship, only last so long. Mastery schooling, like dissertation writing, only last so long. Do the time and graduate each level- slowly. The world will wait. For you are one of the keepers of the gate. Thanks for Listening! Sabrina Louise Andielle Crow Crew

According to the sixth step of the twelve steps of the Hero's Journey, this is when the hero gain allies and learn enemies. But what makes a "good" enemy? We all know you can only develop as far as your resistance can push you. With that said, you're only as good as you can push. This is truer in the world of mythology. The villain is the hero, and the hero is the villain; because it is all perspective and we as mythologist need to hold both as well as we hold one.
Today's villain is not evil for the sake of being. Let's say that we define evil as following. Something that is highly cultured and refined to the highest degree, which has the intent to constructively destroy belief systems and cultures; most times for the better but stereotypically presented as for the bad. Jesus was considered evil during his time. Taking this definition, we have to go beyond that funny drawing of a villain wanting to take over the world just because he wants to. The reason why a villain as one who wants to be sustained and nurtured by the entire ecosystem was accepted during earlier myths is because the guardian gods wanted such things and their co-creation, being stronger than creation, wanted the same things and hence a villain who wants the world in the palm of his hands. But the co-creation and the creation now sits at the same table when processing information during this emerging Age of Information. This leveled playing field means that we as mythologist must sculpt a new villain since we as an ecosystem face a new resistance and have new desires for change. Today's villain, however, cannot be evil for evil sake and, as we now know, cannot be driven by nothing. There must be a goal in the mind of the villain which someone, somewhere, can understand and agree with. Today's villains are just as desirable as the heroes if not more so. They tend to be wiser, stronger, and more in charge of themselves than the younger force that oppose them. The villain knows the world and is very good at manipulating it. As a matter of fact the villain has been doing so up until the hero and her team shows up. Being both outspoken and daring, the villain has learned to keep her temper in check. Often the villain's neighbors and coworkers will say that she was a nice person and that the behavior she just performed is out of character. When all along the villain's life is one of character. Just when we, as mythologist, got the process of the first five and fifty pages being the telling of what is about to unfold, we have to rethink our villains and know that they cannot, again, be evil for evil sake. Nor can they just want to be loved, because even the hero wants that and has wanted that since the days of the Mesopotamian stories. We'll figure this villain thing out because story can no longer replicate life; but life must replicate story- if our ecosystem is to survive this upcoming Age of Enlightenment. We are the harbinger of change because we understand that if we always write what we've always written, then society will always desire what it has always desired. Our villains must change . . . bottom line. Thanks for Listening! Sabrina Louise Andielle July 2019 was the beginning of the third year of my journey to becoming a publish author with a traditional publisher. I tell you this has been a journey of twist and turns to the point that I now understand why the underground roots of a forest looks like a map of success. This becoming a traditional publisher's client is not like self-publishing or publishing with a mom and pop racket. There is a level of mastery which requires focus that just isn't requested otherwise. Writing, rewriting, editing, revision; and much, much more. You can become lost in the drafts alone. I'm on my second revision of what ended up being five drafts and yes, things are tighter than they were months earlier; but, I would not have brought this level of intensity to the game if it wasn't for the fact that I want to be of the roster of a traditional publisher.
In my adventure to being who I am professionally, I'm learning patience and skills which never crossed my mind before. Storytelling and writing stories are two different things; a true master combine and perform both until flawlessness is the appearance. As I continue, now with glee, I find that it really is the journey. I do what I do, read what I read, all to be close with the Universe. My goal has expanded and I'm not getting into what that means at the moment. Being so close, only to have the carrot moved to a different location, because there are lessons and energy to be gained at this new settlement. Yet, I love my guides and I wouldn't take nothing in the world for them. Plus the second installment of The Chronicles of Mow Yen is coming along faster, with less waste. The name: Zep Tepi. It means new dawn. It has been said: If it is fast then it won't last. I used to question that because I was fast and I was producing work. But, being honest with myself, I realized that my work lacked a certain degree of professionalism which I love. I discovered and surrendered to the fact that, that which I sought would only be achieved if I listened to God and slowed down. That meant, enjoying myself on a sunny day, a cloudy day, a rainy day, even a snowy day. Plus I needed time to be still; not just because God said so, but because nothing grow up fast or overnight except when you add man's contribution. Real stuff of God takes time and I am a Metaphysical Fantasy writer. It's a forest I tell you. Hour of Change began in 2018. I will continue to work on this story, only presenting it when needed; but know this: just as the mulberry leaf turns to silk with time, Hour of Change is becoming solid and without fancy. I now pitch it as James Redfield meets J.K. Rowling. And although the level of mastery that those two shared with the world could have been tighter, I stand by them for their vision and determination. They both opened the minds of the public to a new thing. Which is what exploring and pioneering is about; and I am both. Just wanted to let you know that your girl hasn't given up on Hour of Change. That I'm near ... who am I fooling I still have two more run through before tackling the huddles of getting an agent again. A lot has changed. No more Satan. Mow is now a she-demon from the third ring of Saturn. Hina has more screen time and she brings her daughter with her. There are Seven Spirits that must be located. Not to mention that Mow still needs to located her three teams of five Elohim before the December 2030 date. Zeus is still Zeus but he has a newly invented master, Amidas- Mow Yen blood relative which she's never met. Mow's back story has changed and it's an all around tighter story which set up the adventurous journey of The Chronicles of Mow Yen. Plus I know how the damn series ends. For all who are praying for me and Mow, thank you! We aren't going to stop until we see publication and distribution in bookstores throughout the world. Yes, the vision has grown and the ask is bigger but when you're looking to become part of the underground root system of a forest, you better come hard or not at all. Thanks for Listening! Sabrina Louise Andielle I can't believe it. I've polished this Character List to its final shine. In other words, the main characters, antagonists, and protagonist are established and written in stone. I know their voices. I know the motivations behind their actions. I'm so excited that I had to share. So, without further ado, without any particular order, here are the 16 beings living in Welnikov that The Chronicles of Mow Yen: Hour of Change is focused on.
Herkin: The masculine Mein Fate of the Future. His is the adultlike voice which is always pushing Mow to engage in the going on of Welnikov. He is aware that Mow's stay in the Welnikov Dimension is just the setting for Mow to complete her Initiation, Integration, and Transformation for her 2030 task in the third dimension. His words and actions are always calculating even when he presents them as spontaneous. Chekin: The masculine Mein Fate of the Past. His is the childlike voice which is always dragging Mow to engage in the going on of Thebes Tower. He is aware that as the child of Mikin, Mow has lived a difficult life on the third dimension and must forgive in all ways and all directions before she can truly transform into the leader of the Welnikov Team 15. His words and actions are always gentle even if they aren't kind. Mikin: The masculine Mein Fate of the Present. His is the adolescent-like voice which is always trying to prevent Mow from involving herself with anything besides the command to Gather, Prepare, and Instruct the Welnikov Team 15 for the 2030 task in the Third dimension. His words and actions are always forceful even if his intent is to be spacious and allowing. Deja Jung: The Feminine Essence of personality for the planet Earth/Gaia. Hers is the manipulative voice which is attempting to seduce Mow into preventing the Death Moon Ritual even though prophesy states that she will die if the ritual is stopped. Her words and actions are flattering and misleading until circumstances demand for her to be the primal being that she is. Vu Jung: The Masculine Essence of personality for the planet Earth/Gaia. His is the coy voice which supports Deja in seducing Mow into preventing the Death Moon Ritual, even though prophesy states that he will live his remaining years as a reflective part of the planet if stops the ritual. His words and actions are hesitant and liken to that of a host of a manor or a mansion in the process of being foreclosed. Wayland Smith: The outgoing Champion of Gaia. His is the confused voice which is doing what is right, thereby having to live with the consequences of doing wrong, in order to incarnate on the third dimension in the year of 2030. His words and actions are crypted since he has been assigned the position of Vu's executioner and doesn't know who to trust. (Antagonist) Titan/Goddess Hecate: The Commander of the Dead of Welnikov and the eventual temporary replacement of the Feminine Essence of personality for the planet Earth/Gaia, after Deja is sucked into the Netherworld. Hers is the voice and actions of desperation and intimidation attempting to grab control over the rulership of the planet. (Antagonist) Olympian God Zeus: The chief god in the Cad' lad territory of Welnikov's Netherworld and eventual temporary replacement of the Masculine Essence of personality of the planet Earth/Gaia, after Vu is sucked into the Netherworld. His is the voice and actions of projecting and dying domination and expectation which has outlived its season. Thereby he is fighting to hold on the glory of yesteryear's consciousness. Goddess Hel: The Keeper and Charge Maiden of the Book of the Dead of Welnikov who teams up with Mow in order to remove Hecate and Zeus from their new positions in Welnikov's PiCaddily. Hers is the voice and actions of true unconditional love, assistance, and performance to Yahweh and the Creator-Thinker-Host thereby she is the same truth for Mow. Archangel Slone: The personal guardian angel and Archangel assigned to Mow in all ways and all directions. Hers is the voice and actions of feminine support from the angelic realm which is a mirror to Archangel Michael. She is rarely seen but is always nurturing and motivational when she is. (Protagonist) Mow Yen: System Buster who has become stagnant. Relocated to the strange dimension of Welnikov, hers is the voice and actions of some one who is fighting the process of growth into a new position of true abundance and love. She must learn unconditional love while maintaining the energy and dedication to destruction- she is a true angel of Death. Young Mow Yen: Mow Yen's inner child and free bird, her purity of soul which hasn't yet abstracted herself to meet others' expectations- not even a sexual and sensual Po Li. While Mow was building her reputation on the third, Young Mow ran away to Welnikov. Now that the two are reunited, hers is the voice and actions of healing, learning, adjusting, and ultimately dying so that Mow can learn her lessons of leadership, unconditional love, and co-creating with the Creator-Thinker-Host in support of Yahweh and the Children of Earth/Gaia. Po Li: The Twin Mirror of Mow. During previous incarnations, Po was the one that carried the shadow energies leading to the destructive energies which imprisoned him in Winton Harvest of Welnikov's Netherworld. His is the voice and actions of sharing, forgiving, fighting, and evolution from journey to adventure so that Mow can become a realized demigoddess by partnering with him and his powerful gifts of manifestation, offering the third dimension a model of authentic love between partners and as individual halves. Guardian Statue, Copeland: The statue on the right which gives Mow a hard time before agreeing to let her pass through the gates. His is the voice and actions of self-doubt as he was created for that purpose. He will speak the doubt that is in the heart of the living being attempting to enter the Netherworld of Welnikov. His confrontational mannerism cause Mow to think twice about where she is, where she was, and where she is going . . . Mow needs him. Guardian Statue, Striveland: The statue on the left which gives Mow unconditional support before and after agreeing to let her pass through the gates. His is the voice and actions of self-confidence as he was created for that purpose. He will grant the patience and encouragement which is part of the core, primal energies of the individual and collective. Not as protective as Copeland, but he does get the job done with joy and ease. It is he that asks the questions. Daughter of the Moon, Hina: The young feminine energy which has been sent by the Moon to aid Mow in her task for the evolution of the Thinking Man back on the third dimension in the year 2030. Curiosity of Circumstances, Hina is intrigued by Mow, Po, and Young Mow and therefore accomplish her purpose of becoming the new permanent feminine essence of personality of the planet Earth/Gaia. She, in her newfound position, grants everyone she travels with while attempting to enter the Mystical Rose, the freedoms to accomplish the Divinely Assigned Tasks buried in their hearts. Younger than Mow, even, Hina must learn to balance the Masculine and Feminine Essences before her Masculine takes his position besides her. Hers is the voice and actions of unconditional love and service in training for a higher calling. I know this was a long post, but thanks for sticking to the end. Once again, thanks for listening! Sabrina Louise Andielle There are supposed to be two types of stories: Plot-Driven and Character-Driven. In the past I would have agreed but as I mature as a writer of stories, I see that a powerful book not only has fleshed out characters and complicated plots & subplots, but also bread crumbs for the reader to gobble up in order to become engaged in the relationship between reader and writer.
In today's culture readers also want messages and themes- there must always be a moral of the story otherwise "why bother". Readers want something for their $20-$30 they're handing over to the bookstore. Overall, this means that the recipe for baking a story has become more complicated; overwhelming the write or making progress move at the speed of a turtle. The solution . . . an outline which renders these problems obsolete. With an outline everything from the good to the bad is poured on the grill for the writer to see. With heat of passion and instinct, the unnecessary ideas are removed from the outline and the writing of the book is cooked with short order quickness. How can one constantly provide goody after goody of stories? The answer is outlines. When I first started I was a panters, I felt that outlines squashed my creativity therefore I went through the process of writing draft after draft of a complete manuscript or I would flat out quit the project. I didn't have fully developed ideas when I began, my stories were often dull, and my characters didn't have enough to do which is why my manuscripts weren't considered as a true contemporary seeds for books. But I stuck with the profession, deciding to learn how to structure a written story and plan my works accordingly; hence the promotion of the requirement of an outline for success, Outlines save more heartaches than they cause. Again, it's like cooking, an outline makes certain that you have all the ingredients, tells you what goes where and when, then allow you to sit while the writing of the story rises in you. Much shorter process than if you tried to cook it from scratch. Outlines keep the excitement going because you can skip around during this or that step of the process. Although some may tell you that the outline can be as short as a couple of sentences, I believe the more in depth the summary (which is really what an outline is) is the better. A few quotes, write-out of some body movement, and the writer's voice/style will find their way into the outline- very good stuff. Like driving on a road trip, outlining gives you a snapshot of the directions but lack the sights that you can only get with writing the book. So if you're for saving time, sanity, and confidence, then outline; you won't be sorry, promise. -Thanks for Listening Sabrina-Louise Andielle I used to believe that to write a selling tale you had to just focus on the characters. I thought that the people that occupied my mind and spilled onto the pages were enough- they satisfied me.
Often as storytellers we must choose between a character driven or plot driven story; in the past I've always gone with character. These were the choices given and to me there was no mixing the two. At least that was my understanding of the types of written stories. If we must make a choice then it will be character driven, I stated, since I believed that plot driven ones were too difficult. There were the subplots, the twists, the turns, and the climax and as a fairly new writer I just couldn't grasp it all. But, I'm a reader as well as a writer and soon I began to see that some of the most enjoyable stories written are what you consider plot driven. Being the determined astrological goat that I am I had to add writing plot driven novels to my list of things to beat. So, I studied and studied, printing out articles and blog posts, reading books and even attempting to write plot driven material myself. Now I'm at a point where I feel that it's starting to pay off. My current WIP (Lady Agape & The New Dimension) is allowing me to combine what I've learned and after outlining for this approx. 22 chapters, 93,000 word first self-published project, I see that climax is the one thing I skipped over . . . it's barely there, I'll be honest. Now how can you write a plot driven piece of work and not have a strong climax? I don't know but I designed one with my outline. Meaning, I now have to redo the final 25% of my project jiggling the story once more making that draft #3. This is a fact that doesn't scare me. It's just a short hand of re-writing. I used to wonder how people kept at an outline and didn't lose their creative impulse. Now I see that the same drive is there and with outlining you save yourself having to write the entire manuscript over. Therefore, I will happily write in a climax, a soul gripping one as a matter of fact. I will go back and redesign a few key parts leading up to this point. But most of all, I will no longer say that I am just a character driven writer because I have found the glory of writing about a plot. I used to believe that plot driven stories were too hard, now I know that they're no harder to write than character driven stories. -Thanks for listening Sabrina-Louise Andielle |
